Yoga Teacher Training Course Details For India

The multi-style training focuses on two different styles of yoga; the traditional style of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga. During the routine practice and the theory classes, you will not only understand how to do the asanas with a proper alignment but also learn how to adjust your own students in these postures.

This course would focus on Pranayama helping learners to practice controlled breathing, and introduce them to the concept of mind and body balance. Through practice and theoretical understanding of pranayama, students are also able to enhance their knowledge of the physiological process involved in Asanas and Kriyas.

Through the theory classes, a deeper preview of the ancient history of Yoga is taught. The theoretical knowledge helps to gain a better understanding of Yoga as a subject. In order, to understand the subject practically, we will also have to focus on meditation and chanting mantras throughout the course.

During the Anatomy and Physiology classes, we will get to know the musculoskeletal, nervous, and cardiovascular systems, and only by understanding their interconnection with yoga, you can get the real benefit of the art. We focus more on the classroom strategies and methodologies to transmit the knowledge to others. Teaching practices and feedback from the trainers help the students to work on their shortcomings and develop the confidence to take classes.

As required by Yoga Alliance standards, all trainers on our course program have to be qualified yoga teachers with a minimum E-RYT 200 qualification or its equivalent. Students who complete the course successfully will be able to provide training independently as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance.
